- Backdoor pickup occurs on Mondays and Thursdays, except on holidays, in which event the pick-up will be postponed until the next scheduled collection day. Collections will be between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

- The weight of a container (“hefty” plastic bags and cans) and its contents should not exceed 50 pounds.

- Bulky waste and branch bundles: Collection is on Mondays.  , J&S will pick up large items such as refrigerators and freezers (must have certification of Freon reclamation), washing machines and dryers, furniture, mattresses, stoves, and the like. Bulky waste and yard waste bundles need to be placed at the curb, within 5 feet of the roadway. They, too, will be picked up on Mondays. Tree limbs and brush trimmings need to be bundled, no more than 5 feet in length & 18 inches in diameter, limit 8 bags and 4 bundles.

- Unacceptable Items: Hazardous waste, contractor waste, demolition waste, stumps over 6-inches, sizeable amounts of trees / bushes.
